Although HIV-1 has been the most studied infectious agent in the last 30 years and ‎Its widely believed that induction of neutralizing antibodies were sufficient for the ‎protection against HIV . A novel mode of action of HIV infection assumes that ‎production of neutralizing anti-HIV antibodies is the main cause in enhancing the ‎viral infection and its protection against destruction by the cytotoxic CD8+ T-cells. ‎This postulation differs from the ordinary rationales that depend on the role of ‎neutralizing antibodies in controlling the HIV infection.
