Prevalence and Determinants of Obesity Among Adolescents in Ibadan

There are are no national figures for the magnitude of this problem in Nigeria. This book should serve as an eye opener into the enormity of the problem. The low prevalence of obesity shows that undernutrition is the prevailing problem among in-school adolescents in Nigeria. Appropriate intervention on public awareness, behavioural changes regarding food habits and physical activity are recommended.
