The Effect of Workplace Design in Coworking Spaces

You are probably aware that the workplace as we know it is rapidly changing. The 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM grind spent in an “official” office is giving way to the virtual work environment. Coffee breaks then are visits to Starbucks; now Starbucks has become the “home” office or what we call now – the coworking space paradigm. With this shift, we are faced with the question: How does this contemporary work environment affect our work and, more importantly, influence collaboration and engagement?
