Peace Journalism in the Democratisation Process of Cameroon; 1990-2010

As the world keep facing conflicts, and most often violent conflicts, the role of the journalists move from that of a simple bystander to an active actor for pacific change. It becomes incumbent on the journalists to strategically communicate for Peace and Development-this we call Peace Journalism. This book explores how involved was the Cameroonian Peace Journalist in 20 years of democratic mutation; moving from the very violent ghost-town days of the early 1990s to the less violent years of 2000s. This book is recommended for media and communication students, conflict and Peace studies students.
