Minority Doctoral Students

The good news is that students from African American, Hispanic/Latino, and American Indian ethnicities are entering and matriculating doctoral degrees at higher percentages than at any other time in the history of higher education. The bad news is that these students continue to be significantly underrepresented in doctoral education. This book explains through research the human cost of these students' early departure from higher education.
