Musical Thesaurus: Understanding Musical Culture in Contemporary Humanitarian Studies

The monograph defines the concept of a musical thesaurus as a separate form of organization of musical knowledge. Its various forms are defined and considered separately - ideal and material, oral and written. The structure of a musical thesaurus is studied, where the acoustic sound environment, intonation artistic creativity and music as an object of knowledge are considered separately. The principles of structuring a musical thesaurus-dictionary are developed, its different levels, background, basic and super structural are highlighted, and a system of thematic blocks is also developed, which fully cover knowledge about music.
