The development of microwave communication systems requires materials which can be used as dielectric resonators in filters, antennas and oscillators at microwave frequencies in radar detectors, cellular telephones and global positioning satellite devices. Dielectric Resonators are inevitable component in microwave telecommunication devices. To meet the requirements for use in such practical applications, the materials should possess stringent properties like high relative permittivity for miniaturization, high quality factor or low dielectric loss for better selectivity and nearly zero temperature coefficient of resonant frequency for thermal stability of device. Two conventional approaches are usually employed in the development of excellent dielectric ceramics; one is to create a new dielectric ceramic material and the other is to combine two or more than two materials to achieve characteristic compensation. The later one, mixing two or more compositions with different dielectric properties has been tried for this work. In recent years the MgTiO3-CaTiO3 composite ceramics are increasingly becoming attractive for many applications in wireless communication.
