Multirate Approaches for Engineering Applications

The designed multirate systems can outperform original single-rate systems by hundreds of times in key areas. Several multirate approaches with using the MATLAB/Simulink environment have been used in this book to investigate the next areas of application: three-rate processing of noisy voice pattern, two-rate processing of pilot’s voice, three-rate processing of fingerprint, two-rate processing of alphabet letters, two-rate model of distillation column, two-rate model of electromechanical actuator for diesel engine, two-rate model of VTAV, six-rate model of AUV, multi-rate expert system for demand and supply chain management, two-rate model of two-tank system, two-rate mixer-tank control system, three-rate model of fighter aircraft.
