Biblical Warfare: The Way Forward for the Church Today

It is an African Christian response to the global theological and philosophical issues of the Christian and war. Our focus is to proffer a theology that is practicable in a multi-religious society like we have in most parts of Africa. It is in a sense a response to African Christian Theology. War remains an ever crucial matter for the contemporary man. The devastating floods of war in the Old Testament and its antonyms in the New Testament concern the modern mind. There are questions like; why the differences, since the same God? What should be our approach today? Should an African Christian be involved in war? Should we jettison the Old Testament for the New Testament? And a host of other related questions have been asked from this researcher by friends and relatives.
