Yeast supplement in the diet of farm animals is changes in microbial population numbers, advantageous changes in volatile fatty acids (VFA) level in rumen, positive effects on rumen ammonia withdrawal, increases metabolism digestion and changes in microbial protein in large intestine. Yeast supplement for farm animals is also improving the total intestinal bacteria balance, reducing digestive complications, lower hazard of acidosis and reduction in the moisture of bedding resulting in lower stress levels. Yeast increases the levels of anabolic hormones which lead to increase the protein and fat anabolism. Animal feeding on feed mixture contained yeast increased the appetite of farm animals which lead to increase feed intake and consequently increased body weight gain in growing animals as well as increased milk production and milk quality in lactating farm animals.
