The aim of this book is to examine national identity frames in Georgian Media through representation of two ethno-political conflicts: between the South Ossetians and the Georgians and the Abkhazians and the Georgians in different time frames - in early 1990s and the first decade of 2000s. The book highlights on hot and cool stages of conflicts. The particular cases of media signification, determining the large identity meaning and media/national/political contexts are discussed.
