The author tried to explain this subject matter as it is possible in its multidisciplinary, avoiding narrow schematising and theoretical boundaries, and all characteristics that describe functioning of an organism in combat the author thinks should be developed by the help of the method and those means which take in consideration the narrow specialization of the athlete. Even the author tried to, as detailed as it is possible, describe judo and self-defence as significant part of combat sport it wasn`t possible to include all techniques and procedures. A book like this, undoubtedly has its limitations. This book can help its reader to love its subject, understand its content and to adopt the knowledge. It is for the students of Physical education, coaches, athletes for their future development in the aria of sport and also for researches in the area of sport and similar scientific disciplines.When making this book the author has tried to incorporate his large experience which he gained from a lot of teachers from Serbia and abroad, working as coach, teacher at school for coaches and courses and also as an university professor of combat sports.
