Age-old cultures of the Indian subcontinent

Ever since I was a student, my interest in the history and philosophy of the East led me towards Asia. Often I decided to discover this extremely interesting continent in a fairly extreme way – on a bicycle. Divided between the spiritual experience of the East and the rational West, I kept returning, increasingly drawn by the culture, past and authenticity of the people. Travel reports and essays started coming early on, as well as pure field research.
